Positive Discipline class
Positive Discipline, an approach to redirecting children's behavior developed by Jane Nelsen, has an innate compatibility with Montessori. With an emphasis on creating and maintaining respectful relationships, Positive Discipline provides support and guidance for Montessori teachers at every age level. In this session, we'll explore the foundations of Positive Discipline. Then we'll discover some common tools and strategies employed in this method and how they can be uniquely suited to the Montessori classroom environment.
