Assignment Transcript

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to create a better future for all, with Goal 6 focusing on clean water and sanitation. This goal is essential for children’s health and education, as inadequate WASH services can lead to higher dropout rates, especially among girls. Schools must provide safe drinking water and sanitation facilities to foster an enabling learning environment. Collaboration between communities and governments is vital for sustainable WASH services, requiring domestic financing and advocacy. Monitoring systems need strengthening to track progress effectively. By prioritizing gender-sensitive and inclusive facilities, we can ensure that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the resources they need to thrive in school and beyond.
