The course Transformational Leadership in Organizations offers a comprehensive exploration of leadership theories, strategies, and behaviors that enable leaders to inspire meaningful change and drive organizational success. It focuses on understanding how transformational leaders motivate employees by creating a compelling vision, fostering trust, and encouraging innovation. The course covers the four key dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, where leaders act as role models; inspirational motivation, where they articulate a clear and inspiring vision; intellectual stimulation, which promotes creativity and problem-solving; and individualized consideration, which emphasizes personal growth and mentorship. Students examine real-world case studies to understand how these principles are applied in diverse organizational contexts. The course also highlights the importance of emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ethical decision-making in shaping effective leadership. Topics such as managing change, overcoming resistance, promoting diversity, and building a positive workplace culture are integrated throughout the curriculum. By the end of the course, students develop the ability to lead with vision, empathy, and integrity, equipping them to influence others and drive sustainable organizational transformation.
