To gain admission to the Master’s in Audiology program at Atlantic International University (AIU) all applicants are required to have previously achieved a minimum bachelor’s degree in audiology, speech-language pathology, hearing science, or a related field through a recognized post-secondary institution. The applicant must also exhibit proficiency in English, typically via standardized test or some prior academic experience in English. Though professional experiences in audiology or other clinical settings, particularly with respect to coursework achieved, will be an asset in the admission process; AIU will value a combination of academic preparedness, motivation, and commitment to a lifelong learning perspective. All applicants are required to have completed a 100% completed application form and to submit official transcripts, a statement of purpose – which gives details to why they committed to Audiology – and letters of recommendation. The admission process at AIU assesses applicants as individuals and emphasizes the individual potential of the applicant, to ensure that the applicant fits with the mission of the institution regarding self-directed, andragogy education.

How Can You Apply?

To be eligible for entry into the Master’s in Audiology program at AIU, all applicants must adhere to defined academic and professional standards as an assurance of readiness to tackle the field’s advanced course of study. Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferable in audiology, or a related area such as speech and hearing sciences, psychology, or education.
