The Bachelor of Animation curriculum is a broadly-based program that incorporates the merging of creative art with technical skills. Orientation Courses
The Bachelor of Animation program at Atlantic International University (AIU) has initial orientation courses, the purpose of which is to assist in establishing a foundation for students, as well as to understand its inter and transdisciplinary nature. The initial orientation courses will cover concepts such as Self-Development, Communication Techniques, and Learning Theories as part of the student’s learning experience, important concepts to their effective personal and academic development. Research Projects

Bachelor of Animation Admission Requirements
Candidates for the Bachelor of Animation program need to have recognized higher secondary (10+2) schooling completed. AIU typically requires an aggregate of 50 % in qualifying subjects—usually, English and 3 academic subjects (preferred are motion graphics, 3D animation, etc.) from the appropriate academic stream of study. Science students are usually preferred for B.Sc. candidates, while non-science students are accepted for B.F.A. candidates. Admissions will be conducted on the basis of applicant merit using higher secondary examination marks. No entrance test is required, however, applicants may be asked to participate in a final assessment, and/or interview with their portfolio may be part of the admissions process.
How Can You Apply?
- To have an application process for the Bachelor of Animation degree at Atlantic International University (AIU), the applicant should go to the AIU site at www.aiu.edu, and complete the online admissions application form found in the Admissions tab.
- During the admission process required documentation includes one copy of an original official academic transcript, one copy of government-issued photo identification, and one current resume or curriculum vitae.
- The applicant will also submit a Statement of Purpose that contains their animation interest and educational goals.
- At this point, the applicant’s academic submitted material will be examined, and an AIU admissions counsellor will contact the applicant and arrange for a phone or video interview to develop their individualized academic plan.
- When the applicant is accepted, they will receive an official acceptance letter, along with a formal email with instructions on how to log in to the Virtual Campus and begin the orientation process.
- When the student enrolls, they begin the self-paced Bachelor of Animation degree program, which has all the necessary and supportive academic and technical resources from AIU.

Atlantic International University (AIU) makes education available and affordable for all students pursuing the Bachelor of Animation degree.
