Especially when they are uncertain, people will look to the actions and behaviors of others to determine their own. The science is telling us that rather than relying on our own ability to persuade others, we can point to what many others are already doing, especially many similar others.

  • It is important to mention how many students we graduate, or how many other students from that specific country are also at AIU. For example, if you have a prospect from Malawi, you can mention that a student also from Malawi graduated from AIU and became the first female President of Malawi from 2012 to 2014.
