EXPERIENCE LETTER AT AIU
I enrolled at Atlantic International University to do a Masters of Art in Development Studies because I had been doing development work and was in full time employment with a family to look after. One reason why I enrolled at Atlantic International University was that the University was offering distance education and therefore I was able to pursue my education while continuing with my work. Another reason was that I was able to afford enrolling at the university because it offered convenient payment terms for school fees and there were some partial scholarships available. I managed to obtain a partial scholarship after explaining my financial situation. Lastly, I enrolled at the university because it allowed me to dictate the pace at which I was pursuing my studies. All this was a whole new experience having only done education in the traditional universities in the past.
I also enrolled at the Atlantic international University because of the choice given to formulate your own curriculum design. I had already done some post graduate studies in Development Studies and therefore I wanted to avoid repeating modules I already did. In addition, I wanted to craft a curriculum design that would help me have a broad understanding of the development world. I chose causes like the global political economy, Inequality and development, Public finance management and HIV/AIDS and development. I was also glad to do Thesis proposal and the Masters Final Thesis.
The prospect of having my works published also encouraged me to work very hard and do excellent works good enough to be seen by people out there. My work was made easier by the online library at Atlantic International University which had millions of journals and articles as well as a lot of e-books. My access to the library helped me to easily accomplish my masters program.
Whilst at the university I also enjoyed receiving effective study tips from my tutor who had placed me as her priority after noticing my consistent commitment to my studies. The student services department was able to answer my queries for most of the times.
I also wish take this time to thank all the staff at the university that assisted me in every way possible.
Yours sincerely,
