I have successfully graduated from a useful institution as AIU with a high sense of joy and great achievement. The nature of my job coupled with a few personal handicaps, have over the years posed a great challenge to me as far as my academic goals were concerned. I have unsuccessfully tried other options until a friend in a similar situation suggested AIU (though he did not get to start at all). I found AIU as a major source of ‘breakthrough’ to my challenges though not easy either.
There are numerous benefits that come with studying with AIU. First and foremost, It brings out the ‘power’ in you. Distance learning requires a great deal of personal self discipline, drive and determination, attributes which are often difficult to garner. However, my study at AIU has highlighted the abundance of such attributes in me and they were at the core of my success and I believe several others.
Another major experience from my study at AIU is that I have been exposed to my worth to society. Until I joined the AIU family, I had never thought of the relevance of my past studies and work experiences and how they have helped shape society. Now, I am fully aware of how much contribution (however small it may be) I have and continue to make towards the betterment of my community.
Furthermore, I have AIU has taught me to always consider happenings around me in their right perspective. Whatever I find myself doing, I have been encouraged to look at its relevance to my little community, my nation, my continent and the world at large. This has made me a better person as I am now able to make better analysis of any situation and make informed submissions or contribution. No wonder members of the AIU fraternity have become great achievers in several respects in their institutions, countries and the world.
I owe my success largely to the maximum cooperation and encouragement I enjoyed from the School authorities (Academic and Finance Departments), my Advisors, as well as the entire the staff of AIU. My advisors were always in touch by every appropriate means to guide and encourage me. This was indeed motivating and I will forever be grateful to them.
Additionally, anytime the ‘going’ got tough, I found great inspiration and motivation from AIU’s simple phrase of “We know you will succeed.” This was just one of several other inspirational words including those from great personalities such as Albeit Einstein, Mahatma Ghandi which were always posted on the home page of AIU. They were really touching and should be sustained.
Thank you AIU, thank you school authorities, thank you my hardworking advisors, thank you various department of AIU for this great achievement. This achievement is sine qua non to my academic dreams. Thank you!
