I am glad that today, I can share my experience with our students and other external parties relative my time of studies with this noble institution.
Honestly when I started the program, it was a major problem because I needed to understand a very different way of learning other than what I have practiced over the years.
At times, especially during the first phase of the program, I needed to adjust myself to the process of making extensive research, gaining abilities to make independent studies and moreover, developing activities to gain self-motivation owing to the fact that, I was creating my own lessons including several other activities to accompany my studies.
My most significant experience during my time with AIU was in the second phase of the program.
This experience was gained when a very strange activity in my entire learning career was introduced by the Atlantic International University.
This process had to do with preparing my own curriculum called “Curriculum Design”.
Honestly, I have only understood curriculum preparation to be a responsibility of an instructor and not the student, but AIU assisted me change this concept of thinking.
When I developed interest in learning the curriculum design and completed that assignment in phase two, and received a passing mark of A, I got motivated and knew that I could make a difference.
Today, I am grateful that the institution through its administrative staff, have scrutinized my abilities and have seen it necessary to earn me this master’s degree in public administration with emphasis in Criminal Justice.
I am very glad once more to be a member of the AIU family and can assure you that AIU will forever be part of me.
Thanks for your pivotal role played in assisting me achieve this goal.
Best regards.
