One of the hallmarks of human growth is the attainment of education and training. According to the World Bank (2023), “Education is a human right, a powerful driver of development, and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability. It delivers large, consistent returns in terms of income, and is the most important factor to ensure equity and inclusion”. The Atlantic International University’s (AIU) educational framework is so innovative and interactive that the student/pupil determines his/her destiny by designing a curriculum that is specifically developed for his/her needs and focus, with a human rights tenet that is built on personal and societal development. At AIU I was able to design a curriculum that caters to my needs, ambitions, and academic pursuits instead of being engaged with matters that would NOT foster a deeper understanding of my interests and broader perspective of life. AIU’s educational philosophy is innovative and is more germane in today’s society, particularly after the onset of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19, in which the world sought solutions to problems. I am pleased to have been a student at AIU because my experiences were relevant, valuable, innovative, inspiring, interesting, and of a higher standard. The professors at AIU are cognizant of market demands, student-centred, and academically astute in their areas of specialization. Hence, AIU is the place to study, and be educated, and where learning teams societal problem solutions.
