Onkemetse Ramabu, Master of Business Administration

I heard about online learning from my friend and my husband confirmed it to me. I had tried a number of times to apply to study for a master degree to the only university in my country and was unsuccessful due to limited admission number. I was losing hope that I shall ever pursue master degree because I had small children to take care of home and I needed to work in order to survive.
I started to search the internet with no idea of any institution called AIU. I happened to pick AIU randomly in the internet. Little did I know that I had reached the destination, I sent an enquiry the response was first and I started to realize that I might be at the right place. Everything was so fast that in less than a month I was in class on line. The lectures were well planned and the library was well equipped with latest information that helped me a lot throughout my studies period.
I had wonderful experience learning through AIU. I came at the right time when I was approaching management level at my work place. I needed skill in leadership AIU provided for that, I needed skill to deal with people from different cultural back ground both at the work place and socially, AIU provided me with that expertise. I have learnt a lot through AIU and at international level by that way. I am confident enough to lead and I am open minded in a number of business related issues.
AIU is a self-learning university where the student has to do everything the way you are comfortable with and at your own pace. The advisor and a tutor were always available to assist me when the need arise. The response was fast every time I submit my assignment and this helped to encourage me to do more during my study period through AIU. I did everything home with my family and I kept my job.
Even though I know that I did put all the effort on my studies all the time, and that I have advanced academically, I still feel like it’s a dream. So, I recommend AIU to all out there I am also coming back for my PhD. Thank you AIU.
