I entered AIU with skepticism, not knowing what to expect, especially due to the limited
accreditation the school has but was immediately struck by how simple the learning platform is and
how helpful the academic and other advisers are.
The learning process is outstanding. I got a Masters’s from the University of Liverpool, in the UK and
used to tout their dashboard experience as the best in the world. AIU trumps that, with the clear and
simple dashboard experience and easy navigating the process. The teaching standard using
andragogical is something I had no idea about beforehand and found this very useful, innovative
,and futuristic. It is several leaps and steps ahead of other academic institutions and became so
useful in designing the courses that were helpful to my day to day workflow
The understanding that experience counts in a doctorate are unique too. I literally fell in love with
how the university understands basic tenets of humanity and the realization that someone may be
well qualified and an expert for an award based on his numerous years of experience doing a
particular thing.
The learning design where one can graduate at his own pace is simply awesome and kudos must go
to the school for this. The era of fixed graduation term time is obsolete truly and two individuals may
have varying speed of accomplishment which must be incorporated, not discarded as most other
institutions do.
Finally, the tuition friendly system the University runs is endearing and I am absolutely grateful for
the patience AIU has for the students
This is one university I would surely return for more courses as well as recommend numerous friends
