REF: AIU EXPERIENCE LETTER.
The
underlined subject above is concerned.
My
name is Nosim Peter Mollel, a Tanzania girl of 24 years old. I completed my
secondary education in 2007 and thereafter I joined AIU family in 2010 with the
aim of acquire my Bachelor Degree which I am about to acquire soon after I
finish this section. I came to know AIU from the internet while searching for
online colleges and universities. I wanted to take distance learning because I
wanted time for other activities and also to reduce expenses. I wanted to study
in a foreign country because I wanted to get something different and a
different knowledge and experience. I was well directed by the advisor Nathan
Patterson and his advice took me through phase 1.
My economic situation was never good, I told them the situation and I got a
scholarship and that easy the whole burden that I was carrying on my shoulders.
After I completed Phase 1 AIU introduced me to a lady Cindy Dominguez as my
tutor, I have to admit that I was well helped by her and she supported me so
much in completing phase 11.Thereafter AIU introduced me to another Tutor by
the name Nadia Bailey, who has been helping me until now.
I was never good in paying my school fees because of my economic situation as I
named above but AIU has so understood to me and it is just so wonderful the way
they have been bear with me. I will always be grateful to them.
In
trying to practice what I have been learning, I joined HOSPICE TEAM in June
2011 voluntarily in order to start my way to my dreams of helping my society
and I am still with them to now.
I love AIU system of student choosing their own courses because by doing so a
student gets an opportunity to choose what he/she will need in practice. We all
see a lot of educated people around the World study what they are not using
now; sometimes I take that as misuse of time, resources and brain as well.
Their
communication system is also very active and sharp. The assignments are checked
within 2 days time and the comments are answered in time without a blink of an eye.
I love their tendency of inform any changes in time to student if any appears.
I do remember that when I was starting my program I was given questioners,
aiming to self evaluation which will help them to handle your time with them,
e.g. If you want a reminder on something maybe paying tuition fees, they also
do that in the time. They follow your choices and I guess this makes them the
best.
The student section is also well understood and very easy to use. A wonderful
Library with books and articles to support reading is also available. I admire
the family a lot, before I had only ideas to make my society a better one but
with their help I now see the light to that, I see the possibilities and the
more importance of doing so.
The idea itself was not enough I had to get something on top and that is
education, it was said from the beginning, Education is Power and Education is
light on my case I needed power and I needed light to lights my ways and that
is education which I received from AIU.I don’t say that what I have now is very
enough but something is better than nothing. I will need to go further, study
more new things and I still need AIU support because I am not planning to go
anywhere else but AIU I feel a real family with them.
I thank AIU with not enough words for the great work they are doing, and I will
always acknowledge them on my success. I wish to study with them more, and to
work with them too to help people bring their dreams in reality.
THANK YOU AIU.
Sincerely,
Nosim Peter Mollel,
