An Experience that will stay with me forever…
I have had the best experience through my studies with the AIU. Since my initial enrollment, all the staff had been friendly, professional and always willing to provide guidance. Upon enrolment I spoke to the most efficient individuals at Student Services, and before I knew it, I was enrolled and ready to start my studies.
As most students at a new university, I was still finding my feet and unsure of the process and assignments awaiting me. This initial uncertainty was fast a thought of the past, as I familiarized myself with the Student Portal. I have never experienced such a user friendly, advanced web portal with ease of navigation and all the required information at hand. Information, communication channels to advisors, payments and assignment interaction was never a problem.
All required steps and activities to complete a course is outlined in the most granular level, from what to do (Name and description), by when (Timeline), and how (examples and templates).
After each assignment submitted, I received feedback from my Advisor. This feedback included positive re-enforcement, motivation and guidance.
I was amazed about the speedy assessment and grading of my assignments. In South Africa, it is not unusual to wait weeks up to months for feedback and grading.
Finally, what made it all worthwhile was all the knowledge I accumulated over the study period. The most interesting books and information formed part of my course. This was truly an amazing experience that will be remembered forever. Thank you AIU!
