Firstly, there is need for specific knowledge over a wide range of issues for the professionals that necessitate further training, which in turn requires time, commitment and resources. Many of those in the field find it difficult to pursue further studies, while remaining committed to work. But some of the skills needed require a shorter but more targeted approach. AIU programs are flexible and customized, where I could study and successfully complete my Civil Engineering degree, keep my current job and spend time with my lovely family at the same time.
Secondly, I would like to thank AIU for being highly sensitive to the economic status of their students. It is therefore not out of place to state that AIU tuition fees in respect of their various programs are affordable and reasonable.
Thirdly, the AIU assessment criteria takes into consideration the practical field experience, market base as well as the various research, writings and publications of its students. It’s a practical based learning depending on your professional gaps or interest. This is a highly commendable and constructive step in my professional growth
Last but not least, I will remain grateful to the authority of AIU for creating alternative opportunities for those who cannot easily leave their current full time jobs for the purpose of studies. I am currently working while demonstrating great competencies and confidence in handling my engineering tasks. I am looking forward to join the Postgraduate Program in Construction Project Management and to be fully equipped to handle the current construction challenges in developing countries
Many thanks
