Experience Letter
ATLANTIC INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY – AIU should be called University of Choice, University of Reality, and University of Practical Lessons. There is a saying that experience is the best teacher and my experience with AIU has been the most challenging and excellent in all levels and walks of my life.
I chose online distance learning because:
1. I did not want to leave my job
2. I wanted to be able to study in a University where I could choose a course that will opened my mind’s eyes to new things
3. A university where I could offer a course I desire
4. A university where I can manage despite my over whelming pressure at work and family demands.
5. A university where I can afford to sponsor myself.
AIU took care of all my worries on how to obtain my master’s degree and also helped me to take responsibility for my own learning and not be dependent on a tutor. The mode of study did not prevent me from meeting friends, from travelling and doing my normal duties as I saw some friends struggling and travelling in between job and school. A new age of distance learning indeed!
The study support at AIU was very good and excellent, and I can confidently say with power and authority that it was as good and evenbetter than attending a full time course in lecture theatres, as “what we know we know, what we know we don’t know”. I highly appreciated the contact with my advisors, video conference tuition, student service services, finance sections understanding and appreciation of difficult times, they were really helpful, kind, absolutely superb and very supportive at all times, providing me with all the information I needed, The contact was maintained and strengthened whatever problem or question I had, it was replied very fast and satisfactorily.
The assignment’s result was replied as fast and quick as the lightening and that helped me to move from one level to another. I liked a lot the idea of the student’s designing their own curriculum. That gave me the opportunity to chose what was in relation with what I do and what I stand for.
The option to pay my tuition in instalments and receiving a part scholarship was manageable and it allowed me to pay as I earned my salary on a monthly basis with no pressure. It made me feel very comfortable and made me to know how much I can save in a month whenever I was done with the course. In simple put, the programme became affordable and convenient.
Therefore, I can proudly say, whether taking a single course or co
