My most significant life goal was to reach the highest level possible in my academic journey by acquiring the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to become a Doctor of Philosophy and Education Policy. Atlantic International University’s Ph.D. program has given me the skills and authority to achieve the advanced expertise for my intentions. I aim to positively impact local, state, and national education policy both nationally and internationally. This degree provides a foundation to address the complex issues of education policy, relevant research, and train the next generation of educators to revitalize school systems. I will apply the passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge gained from this advanced degree to various social challenges. Atlantic International University has provided me with the skills necessary to use my credentials to reach professional opportunities for research, investigations, and the advancement of society.
I experienced great satisfaction during the dissertation process, developing those skills that are highly valued in the spheres of academia, government, private agencies, and corporations. These skills are crucial in mastering research methodologies and creative techniques to recognize their use in my discipline. I greatly benefitted from the research of other academics in my field, including my professors, staff, and advisors. It was very enlightening to intensify my scholarship, address problems creatively, and learn to identify the best resources. I developed practicing independent, critical thinking, problem-solving, data analysis, synthesis, and managing a project to completion, prioritizing a range of tasks, and partnering with professionals. I had the opportunity to improve my writing, develop and defend my original ideas while sustaining my passion for human rights by advocating for and protecting the most vulnerable members of society. In emulation of Christ, who cares about the needs of all, I want to offer my contributions to support those in need.
