My experience at AIU during my Bachelor’s Program was nice and exciting. AIU proved to me that I can do it.
The AIU is well organized with trained and experienced staff who followed up on my progress and supported me throughout my course of study. Lectures and videos were simple and in understandable English Language and the contents of the modules were very interesting. It was like reading Literature and I was eager to know what next.
At first I had challenges with work life balance, health and doubted whether I will be able to cope but having assertion with everything put together, I found myself gaining so much knowledge. The number of resources found in the library were useful, freedom to search for best information for self was great and my commitments in submitting timely assignments. I disciplined myself in setting timelines for course work and managing my home and academic life was paramount to my goal. The great impact is having respect in the family, workplace, community and above all, new knowledge and a rewarding employment.
The mere fact that I had an opportunity for academic pursuit at this time in my life was overwhelming and speaks volume that it is never too late to learn so long as one has the determination and inspiration to do so in life. The flexibility allowed was awesome more so as I had family commitments and a very demanding job. This proved that every effort leads to a reward.
I hereby want the AIU authorities to know how much they are appreciated for allowing me finish my course which was delayed due to many factors including health, Covid 19 epidemic and some financial constraints. I was unable to complete within the prescribed time and not thrown out of school because of this, I am grateful!
I can now confidently talk about my independence as I step into the future and pass on my new knowledge to my family and associates for motivation.
