I am writing to express my blissful experience during my phases of Legal Studies Bachelor Degree in the School of Social and Human Studies of Atlantic International University. I am delighted. Firstly, I want to appreciate my academic advisors, tutors and Students Service whose support and encouragement brought confidence, strength and faith in me, and their guidance which led to the light of knowledge I attain today.
Secondly, my Phase 1 experience was a blueprint for self-discovery and personal development, I acquired knowledge and skills essential for my potential boosting, career advancement, professional recognition, multicultural adaptability and flexibility in order to implement required ideas for establishment of gainful agendas in community engagement of my society and the world at large, and AIU gave me the direction and keys to work on.
Thirdly, the experience of curriculum design and personal academic research on the development of my courses enlightened me in deep knowledge of education which is lucrative and needful for attainment in this century and beyond, and I learnt better communication skills, time management, cultural awareness and moral values from my study in AIU and interactions with my fellow students.
Fourthly, as a woman of letters, I discovered during my phase II and the rest of my curriculum activities that my unpublished books were not written professionally to suit academic standard as I envision, but AIU gave me understanding for outstanding performance, and exposed me to diversities of education world, and intending to become a beacon of modernisation and innovation in my space of usefulness for global impact and relevance from the underdeveloped world.
Lastly, I became Founder of Heartlove Creativity and Empowerment Foundation; a Non-Governmental Organisation from my enrollment in AIU, I got insight of Child Labour and Abuse, Child and Women trafficking, vulnerability of Genocide, tribalism and bigotry as a result of religious biases, tribal hierarchy, misconceptions of tradition and civilisation, and how to handle such occurrences from my Human Right course in Legal Studies, which boost my confident in my voluntarily service for these needy children and teenagers in my foundation, I have graciously impacted effectively in their lives and education. This also, I will initiate into the development of society.
My experience of AIU virtual campus and other lucrative packages helped me to understand the need for collaboration in teamwork, and innovations for human capital development. It helped me to become the best of myself as I am still in progress of bringing forth my works on global implementation. I want to say thank you very much, it’s an honour and a privilege to become an Atlantic International University Graduate and a would be alumnus.
