I am indeed very happy and grateful to God for the exciting and challenging moments at AIU. I was enrolled in January 2010, but the exigencies of duty did not permit me to conclude the programme as scheduled. Despite the financial hurdles I had to cross, I can confidently say, “The Lord has been my Helper”, as God assisted me in concluding my PhD programme in Computer Science.
From inception, the Admission Counsellor, Sandra Garcia, encouraged me throughout the commencement stage of the programme, and I was able to cope, especially during the submission of my assignments and payment of the fees. My Academic Advisors had worked tremendously. The conversions with the Student Services were very cordial, cheerful and charming.
AIU offers an exciting and productive ways of learning. In comparison with the pedagogical experience, the method of learning at AIU focuses on a personal touch of instructions, to the enhanced technological online mode of study. The convenience of the web-based programs enabled me to structure my curriculum, and plan my schedule of study. Moreover, I discovered I had extra-ordinary convenience with online resources and tools, and great privilege in achieving my career and professional goals.
The flexibility of the fees payment using credit card is another kudos to AIU. This payment method has helped me without having to purchase dollars and sending through FORM A, as required in Nigeria.
Finally, the recent accreditation status by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC), which is a member of CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in the USA, an approved accreditation body by the Ministerial Department of the Home Office in the UK, and is listed in the International Directory of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), has propelled the recognition of AIU to greater heights. I am proud and happy to be part of this moving “train”. This is an unalloyed achievement at this time, when emphasis is laid on accreditation.
Congratulations to the Management, Staff, Students and Alumni of this progressive institution. This is a landmark achievement for our Citadel of Learning!!!
Keep up your good deeds in Higher Education.
