EXPERIENCE LETTER
I am Anthony Adela, a student at Atlantic International University and have no regret to be associated with this university after so many attempts to get my first bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from other universities. At last I have become a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering which I desired to have for many years but could not think of ways and means of having it due to busiest schedules which surround me at work and at home. However, AIU did it all by granting me this rare opportunity of studying at my own desired times and come up with a degree in Civil Engineering in a shortest possible time after working very hard.
While with Atlantic International University, I have learnt so many things. I have learnt how to associate myself with people around me, how to conduct myself in front of people and how to write a bibliography. I have learnt of how to analyze materials required in a structure to come up with a stable and reliable structure for the end user’s utmost safety. I have learnt all this in a shortest time because of the warmth and well presented welcome from the members of staff of Atlantic International University and my commitment to research on matters of civil engineering.
At AIU, distance is no barrier; the advisor and my tutors were always at tip top to ensure that I become who I am today, a graduate. The finance and student section departments who always ensured I was updated in all occasions ensured that information reached me at the right time. All in all, the people at Atlantic International University have the magic hand and sense of humor to attract any individual who is willing to learn on his/her own desired time.
Solving difficult problems in the field I took will be very easy now since I feel I am well equipped to tackle incoming problems. This is all because Atlantic International University has made it possible for me. I will help to build my community and the environment around me with these new skills I have learnt from this university. My engineering approach has diversified and I only give thanks to the entire staff of AIU for giving me this rare opportunity of studying at their university at a distance but still felt they were so close to me. On my own, I feel I had the right advisor, tutors and the all entire staff at the right time when I needed them most. I will remain indebted to them as special people in my life. From the experience with them, I have learnt that they are trained to handle people who are mature, but willing to advance themselves academically.
Of course I know that life will never be the same after going through AIU furnace of education. Even at my age, I feel I am brand new and ready to give back to my country what I have gathered from my researches I made while studying with AIU. I know that the journey is not over yet as I am planning to start my masters degree of course with AIU in a shortest possible time. Like our famous leader of our time, Nelson Mandela once said, after climbing on top of the hill you will see that there are many hills to climb. I am on top with the bachelor’s degree; I have seen the journey has just begun for more research works ahead of me. To those who doubt distance learning, I would advise you to try AIU you will not be disappointed. Your lives may change to the best of you as mine.
