I had the pleasure to study at Atlantic International University in 2006-2007. I studied International Relations by distance education. I learned about the university through contacts who had previously completed Masters Degrees. My experience was of great benefit and I am pleased to share it here with you.
AIU gave me the opportunity to finish my studies, and for me it was the key to many doors that I had been waiting to open. Many of my questions were answered. My life has changed in a good way. After my experience with AIU, I found that I have become more independent, confidant, and I have built a higher self-esteem. With all that I have learned, I am excited that I am able to help people who are in need.
I appreciated the AIU distance education method of learning because of its flexibility, and the way that it allowed me to continue working and taking care of my children while studying at the same time. I was able to create my own schedule for studying, working around the busy life that I already had built for myself. It allowed me to fulfill one of my life-long dreams.
I really enjoyed the course of International Relations at AIU, because it allowed me to focus on something that I am passionate about. I was able to take the themes that really interest me and put them to practical use. It was very important for me to enter into this field and to be able to help people who are the most at risk. For example, I am now able to work with victims of human rights abuses, especially women and children of indigenous populations and minorities, in Africa and Latin America in particular.
As a working mother, the distance education method allowed me to continue working while studying and continuing on with my role as mother. I am so happy that I was able to complete my degree with you and will gladly recommend your university to others that I know. I want to thank you for the experience.
