I would like to appreciate the university for accepting me and allowing me to be part of this University. I gained a lot of experience because I learned a lot that has made me what am now. i have become an authentic student who is able to relate and realise the talents in me that I fail to unitise
The students were very cooperative and the webinars that i attended were able to open my eyes because they were very educative and every presenter was able to explain to us how these webinars can change life.
I became Student Ambassador. Coming to the university was the best way for me to get the qualifications and experience I needed to become a successful psychologist I understood that being a student was not just about getting a degree but becoming an effective student out side in the world. I want to say thank you so much for the scholarship that I got because it reduced on my funds and I was able to complete my studies
Other new things i learnt was new, making friends and understanding people’s behaviour. I learnt lesions that lessons that being a student can make me learn every time because learning is every day and it shows that no one is right.
University life has changed my life greatly.
I learnt to be independent
When I got to know the university, I w became a responsible person managing my own time, budget, and workload that was given to me. I became an empowered person and was able to empower others. Having to do everything for myself helped me to grow into a more confident person. I have learned to trust my own judgement and to stand up for myself when necessary. I also choose things that take me out of my comfort zone, both in my academic work and in my personal life.
Secondly what I learnt from hers was time management. I got to know that time keeping is very essential. Those days before I started studying here, timekeeping was not so essential I have learnt time management skills .no procrastinations as it used to be. Assignments are done are done by me early and I was able to summit them early. Thank you for the university staff. I actually have become a much better time keeping person by not letting my self be distracted by other things when studying.
There has been time when I could struggle with my assignments but my tutors made me their friends and taught me how to submit my assignment in time i realise that asking for help is very important and we learn from each other and that is assign of growth.
Lastly i learnt how to build very good network with my fellow students and workmen and staff. The importance of building a network. The great thing that I saw was that the students come from a diversity of different countries and different backgrounds these has made me learn a wide range of experience and perspective especially when in the webinar. I have interacted with many students and my classmate even we had good discussion.
I realised that the networking is very important. I have grown both professionally and socially. This is what I have learned and experienced from the university and it has also helped me to begin an organisation and even think differently and I have critical thinking that has made me see things differently and with a changed attitude and open mind set I was also able to solve complex problems and i was able to become creative and innovative to solve problems. I was able to bring 2 students to follow me at the University.
