Systemic Family Counselling, completed between April 2015 and October 2016 at Atlantic International University, focused on the role of family dynamics in effective counselling. Drawing on Systems Theory, the course explored concepts such as marital issues, bereavement, HIV/AIDS counselling, and child development. Through practical and theoretical training, I gained valuable insights into addressing personal and societal challenges holistically. This approach emphasizes viewing individuals as part of a broader family and societal system, ensuring more effective counselling outcomes. The course equipped me to provide professional counselling services in various settings like schools, hospitals, and workplaces. Moving forward, I intend to use these skills to promote community well-being, improve mental health, and contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 3 and 5.
