The Associate of Quantum Computing Technology delves deep into the new technology of Quantum Computers. A quantum computer is a more powerful computer that uses qubits instead of bits, Quantum Computing will be the solution to process more complex information than traditional computers. As we continue to explore this relatively new field of quantum computers, new solutions to chemistry and the medical field will be discovered using quantum technology as well as other fields that we haven’t even imagined. Quantum Computing is in its very early stages of development, so understanding these early years of will be an advantage for future quantum computing jobs. Some topics that are covered in this field are the topic of superposition and entanglement, understanding efficient algorithms, sensors and measurement methods, the future of Quantum Computing and other topics. The program of Quantum Computing Technology at AIU, is a distance learning program that will be tailor-made and designed exclusively for you, by you, and with your counselor. The flexibility to meet your needs is rarely found in any other distance learning program. Our program does not require that each student studies the same subjects and uses the same books and study materials as other students. Instead, our online Bachelor Programs are designed just for you. They are individually designed to meet your needs and help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
Important: You can find below an example of the topics or areas of study that you can develop and work on during your study program. This does not mean, in any way, that said example implies being a complete list that you are obliged to carry out at AIU, but that it is used by you as it is, an example or guide at your service. We remind you that AIU does not require its students to follow a standardized curriculum. Do you want to learn more about curriculum design at AIU? (Courses and Study Plans)

The Quantum Computing market is expected to rise in the next few years from $472 million in 2021 to $1,765 million by 2026. Quantum Computing jobs are all over in many different fields including healthcare, pharmaceutical, global banking, finance and others. The demand is growing rapidly as public and private entities are investing in research and development. Currently, Google, Microsoft and IBM are leading the efforts to advance the field and establish itself as the leader. Though, about 20% of the Quantum Computing jobs involve marketing, sales, management, tech support and operations. Therefore, the opportunities to land a job in a Quantum Computing field is not as far reached as you might have thought, especially since this is a relatively new science.
