Water scarcity affects more than 40 per cent of the global population and is projected to rise. Over 1.7 billion people are currently living in river basins where water use exceeds recharge.

While substantial progress has been made in increasing access to clean drinking water and sanitation, billions of people—mostly in rural areas—still lack these basic services. Worldwide, one in three people do not have access to safe drinking water, two out of five people do not have a basic hand-washing facility with soap and water, and more than 673 million people still practice open defecation.

Degrees in public health can prepare graduates for jobs, public and private alike, in the clean water industry. There are also numerous non-degree and certificate programs that relate to the public health profession and specifically to clean water jobs.
Public Health
Public Health program objective is to prepare students to be in the frontier helping to improve the health of a community and or targeted population through education, promotion, research and disease prevention.
Civil Engineering
Civil Engineering program objective is to provide professionals with the right tools so that they can prepare for a career in practice, research, or teaching either at organizational or academical level within the discipline of civil engineering.
Journalism
Journalism program will be a custom-made program, designed just for you by you and your academic advisor. This flexibility to meet student needs is seldom found in other distance learning programs.
