At AIU we want to congratulate one of our students: Sonia Rachel Boby for successfully passing her thesis defense.
The subject of her thesis for receiving the degree of Doctor of Healthcare Administration- is “An Evaluation of Health Management Strategies on employee Engagement of the Lowest Pay Band within Construction Companies in the U.S.” Below you can find an introduction to Sonia’s thesis.
Introduction:
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the role and impact of workplace health and wellness
programs on the engagement of employees. The study focuses on exploring and evaluating the
impact of wellness programs on engagement of lower salary band (LSB) employees of
construction companies in U.A.E.
The perceptions of HR professionals of the construction companies were used to assess and evaluate the role and synergy between provisions of worksite health and wellness initiatives for the LSB employees and its impact on engagement by using a mixed method approach. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the findings obtained from the study will help in gaining deeper understanding of the level of association between health and wellness programs and employee engagement.
Sonia Rachel Boby completed a PhD program in Healthcare Administration at Atlantic International University. We are very proud of the good work of our student and wish him success in all your professional projects.
