AIU wants to congratulate one of our graduates- Margaret Ordóñez Smith de Danies for her recent success.
Margaret wrote her thesis on: “Practical Guide for Clinical Bacteriology Laboratories” and it has been published in the Pan-American Medical Editorial which has an excellent reputation for everything related to health in Spain- Central and Latin America.
Her book aims to provide tools to standardize and be able to work optimally and reliably in the field of Clinical Bacteriology– systematized or manually because without an effective pre-analytical phase– there is no bacterial recovery.
She describes simple– fast- and economical techniques and opportunities for the management of patients with bacterial infections.
In addition- presents new techniques to prevent fast bacteria strength and help the patient recover quickly- avoiding unnecessary hospital days and costs in their diagnostic tests.
Margaret completed a Doctorate program in Mircrobiology with Cum Laude honors at AIU.
