Congratulations to John M. Willie for his recognition. Through his studies at AIU- he was contacted by the Rural Empowerment Foundation – REFOUND- a local non-governmental organization to organize cooperative development training sessions for 11 women cooperative groups in Suakoko District- Bong County.
These women were trained to manage their village level cooperative group and work in a central leadership team. The central leadership coordinates and runs the day to day events of the group.
To date- the group has successfully established bank accounts with member organization having savings in a central account and two warehouses completed to keep goods purchased and send to the city for sale. The women purchase goods locally and hire trucks to transport them to Monrovia- Harbel and sometimes Buchanan for bigger sales that give the group profit.
John completed a Bachelors program in Cooperative Management at AIU.
We are very proud of you and wish you continued success.
