Atlantic International University– Guatemala Representation- had the great opportunity to team up with the American Embassy- Agexport- and the Central American Business Intelligence to organize the important Economical and Entrepreneurship Forum with the interesting topic “Opportunities and Challenges” in which they evaluated and discussed the current economical situation in Guatemala in the Global context.
AIU’s Academic Director in Guatemala- Jorge Eduardo Prado- had the honor to open the forum which many AIU students attended.
The topic also included a wide range of short- medium- and long term impact that the economy has had in the Central American region.
The event that took place in Guatemala brought experts in Economy who voiced their opinions on the current world’s economic crisis. The forum had the participation of Juan Callejas Vargas- Mr. Thomas S. Carnegie (Economic Affairs officer of the United States of America’s Embassy)- Miguel Gutierrez- from the Central American Business Intelligence- and Iván Buitrón- a professional of Agexport.
