The San Carlos University recognized Atlantic International University’s excellent academic standards and designated AIU as their key partner on distance learning programs. The ceremony took place at the President’s office on November 24th 2005.
As one of the cooperation agreement objectives- AIU will support Universidad de San Carlos develop and execute distance learning programs thru the design and implementation of their electronic platform. With such an infrastructure- it will be possible for the regional sites of the university to reach and assimilate the content of all specific educational program courses. This will satisfy the current needs of their continuously growing student’s population- craving for scientific knowledge to promote their country’s wealth and development.
The ceremony was presided by Dr Luis Leal- president of the San Carlos University- Dr. Eduardo Velázquez- Dean- Economic Sciences Faculty of USAC- Dr. Jose Mercado- vice-president AIU- Jorge Eduardo Prado- Eng.- MBA- Guatemala representative- and ADEI-Association for the Educational Development of Guatemala.
