A few days ago Dr. Jose Mercado had the opportunity to go to Mexico City and receive a major award on behalf of AIU.
The Latin American Parliament for Education held its Third Annual Summit and- as part of the program- was to award Certificates of Achievement to universities and organizations that have demonstrated high quality in their educational processes.
The certificate we received was awarded to Atlantic International University- “for their invaluable- loyal and outstanding commitment to the improvement of quality and excellence in education in Latin America”.
The summit included a series of conferences that AIU had the opportunity to participate in the committee of honor and received many positive comments praising; the philosophy we follow- the success of our graduates and the quality of our methods amongst other.
Present at the Summit- were Representatives from institutions throughout Latin America and Spain with whom we shared our recent successes.
The Latin American Parliament has extended an official invitation to AIU to participate on the Board as Parliamentarians and Active Members. The goal is to have a say in their meetings and appointments and always ensure that any nominee for an award by the Parliament meets necessary merit.
