It is our pleasure and joy to inform you that AIU’s Academic Dean, Dr. Franklin Valcin has published his most recent book about “Curriculum and Course Design”.
Through this textbook he tackles the topic with precision and agility. But more importantly, facilitates the development of the student’s curricula. As one of our own graduate Doctorate student, H. Digby Clarke states; “This latest book by Dr. Valcin is the most important instrument in your toolbox of teaching aids. It eases the road ahead and gives confidence and assurance to any teacher-to-be. I commend it to you.”
Dr. Valcin is making his students at Atlantic International University at ease with the crafting of a curriculum, which is the centerpiece of their self-managed programs.
It is clear that the Curriculum Design course is one of the most important assignments at AIU based on the Andragogic Philosophy of Education; and this book will help a lot of students prepare the best Curricula for their studies. Furthermore, this book will be available for all students electronically through the Student Resources section or they can purchase the book by contacting the Student Services Department.
