AIU’s Academic Advisor- Dr.Lucia Gorea- a keynote speaker at the symposium in Cuba

Dr. Lucia Gorea was a keynote speaker in the 8th Symposium on Translation- Interpretation and Terminology in Havana- Cuba last month.

The topic was: Language Professionals: The Present Challenges and Perspectives

Dr. Lucia Gorea- is an academic advisor at AIU- a certified translator- literary translator/writer and has a Doctorate degree in English and Education- with a focus on Linguistics and Literary Translations.

She is also the author of ten books of poetry- English as a Second Language- children’s stories- historical fiction novels and several translations. Her books have been published in Canada- the US and Europe.
