Jany Mary Jarquín Mejía a doctorate student in Sociology has participated in the third national congress of education during a three day period held by the Faculty of Education and Languages in the Bicentennial of the Nicaraguan University.
Her presentation was based on “Andragogy and the use of ITC (Information Technology and Communications) in Higher Distance Education which was inspired through her learning in AIU. She discusses the following points in her presentation.
· The concept of andragogy
· The history and origin of andragogy
· The basic differences between andragogy and pedagogy
· The andragogy methodology
· Virtual methods of higher distance education in andragogy
· Outcomes of ITC in higher distance education
Jany Mary Jarquín Mejía has been an excellent student at AIU and we are very proud of her achievements. We hope that she continues with this success- that is a byproduct of the effort and dedication that she has always shown.
