Throughout the program, students engage in foundational courses such as Database Management, part of our broader curriculum in Business Information Technology. This degree uniquely combines Information Systems courses focusing on emerging technologies, including Business Intelligence, E-commerce, and IT Project Management.

The computer information systems aspect of some orientation courses were additionally Network Administration which gave students an experience with administering and securing computer networks. An important component of the Information Systems degree (bachelor level), our students have the experience of working on research projects in the evolving fields of web development and cyber security.
The research projects in computer information systems with regard to web development focused on new ways to research web development practices, absorbing the impact of the fast-paced changes in the digital landscape. The research projects regarding cyber security focus on cyber security research for students to investigate new ideas on how to better protect IT against future threats.
The linkages between the web development projects and cyber security projects in computer information systems showcases the multi-faceted nature of our program and affords students a good foundation to succeed and innovate in the fast-changing technological world.

Despite the fact that you will be in a completely online program, students in the Bachelor of Information Systems programs are engaged in the community with the use of technology including Virtual Campus, Mobile app, and many platforms to provide student engagement. In this virtual experience, our students are engaged in symposiums, webinars, and competitions while also forming a bond. The community will include a one-on-one experience which will include interactional engagement through a number of community support tools including MYAIU, AIULink, AIUTV, Merlin Media Center and Virtual Labs, we will build engagement. AIU Campus Mundi is a monthly magazine that gathers the most notable news and information about the university and its members in one convenient place. The magazine allows our community to be well informed, involved and keep in tough regardless of their geographic location. Each year AIU organizes graduation ceremonies where the students can assist and share their experiences with fellow students and academic members Participation in the ceremony is optional, the day’s events include conferences, research presentations, group meetings, networking, lunch and formal dinner.
AIU has symposium experiences for students in the IT program to broaden student development through impactful and innovative international experience opportunities for collaborative learning.
