“It is great to see that you are active in your program; this means a lot to us. Let us know if you need any type of assistance”.
This is the statement that kept me going. It is so reassuring that when the going was tough, I was certain in mind that someone somewhere is ready and willing to give me a helping hand. The values I have learnt and the satisfaction elicited from this is that am going to be a source of inspiration and hope to many other people who need the ‘razor’s edge’ to make difference in their lives . I remain sincerely grateful to AIU for altering my mind and thinking with such powerful and influential statement as this.
Distance learning at AIU is so well organized and the experience so rich that am almost become an unofficial representative and marketer of the program back home in Ghana. The responses from staff are timely and are particularly grateful to Edward Lambert who became my perpetual tutor because of the way and manner he made my studies smoother. I remain forever grateful and dedicate this certificate am about to receive to him for his extraordinary support in the course my studies at AIU.
Studying at AIU has brought me closer to my dream. It has brought to fore the real meaning of education. As in the words of the thirty-fifth president of the United State of America, John F. Kennedy, which I fully share and mentioned in my philosophy of education and repeating here for emphasis: “Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation”. AIU has molded my thoughts and rekindled my hope to impact my community and nation as a whole.
I would like to see my ‘Alma Mater’ improved. However at present am still contemplating what suggestions to proffer. Your services and responses are timely and commendable. Congratulations to all the faculty and staff of AIU.
