Dr. Yousif Amin Al Ameen’s career reflects a rare blend of academic rigor, public-sector leadership, and practical innovation. Among his most notable achievements, he led Bahrain’s first public-sector Knowledge Management (KM) Unit, laying a foundational framework for institutional learning, organizational memory, and evidence-based decision-making.
In addition, he authored Bahrain’s first Solar Energy Workbook, contributing to national awareness and capacity-building in renewable energy – an achievement aligned with regional sustainability and energy diversification goals.

One of the most significant milestones associated with Dr. Yousif Amin’s work is the recent achievement by the Centre for Project Innovation (CPI) and the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE): Over 500 project professionals in Bahrain have now been certified through their long-standing partnership.
This achievement represents years of collaboration focused on delivering practical, globally recognized project management certifications tailored to regional needs. The milestone highlights the shared commitment of CPI and BSE to professional excellence and workforce development in Bahrain.
This success was made possible through the leadership of Dr. Hameed Abdulla, Director of the BSE Training Centre, and the dedicated contributions of Dr. Yousif Amin Al Ameen, who has played an instrumental role in delivering training programs, applied research, and strategic insight within the partnership.
Proving the Power of Blended Learning
Dr. Yousif Amin recently completed his PhD at AIU, with doctoral research titled: “Investigating the Effectiveness of Blended Learning in Project Management Certifications: A Case Study from Bahrain.”
His research examined how blended learning models can integrate face-to-face instruction with digital learning components which further can enhance learner outcomes in professional certification programs. Using the Certified Project Officer (CPO) certification as a case study, his findings confirmed the effectiveness of the blended delivery model jointly offered by CPI and BSE.
Published through Corpus Publishers, the research provides valuable empirical evidence supporting modern, flexible learning approaches for working professionals and certification bodies worldwide.
