Thesis Proposal

This research explores critical factors affecting the academic achievement of students with learning disabilities in primary schools across the Cayman Islands. Focusing on learners, teachers, curriculum design, and infrastructural support, the study employs qualitative methods such as interviews, observations, and discussions to gather in-depth insights. The findings will highlight barriers faced by students with disabilities and suggest actionable measures for improvement. Emphasizing the importance of inclusive education, the study aims to guide policymakers, educators, and stakeholders to implement effective strategies that promote equitable learning environments. Addressing this issue is vital to enhancing educational outcomes and ensuring that all students, regardless of their disabilities, have access to quality education and equal opportunities for success.
