Atlantic International University will be now using Turnitin (an electronic text matching system) as a tool to help you identify any problems in your writing. Turnitin compares text in your assignment against electronic text on the Internet, in published works, on commercial databases, and in assignments previously submitted to Turnitin by students in universities all over the world, including assignments obtained from paper mills.

For each paper submitted Turnitin generates an "originality report" that rates the amount of text matching source files in the database on a scale from 0 to 100 percent. The report is presented in a very intuitive and detailed manner that will help you to take full advantage of its educational potential. The feature is now available in your student section
