It is our pleasure to inform that Dr. Kevin McGivern, a Doctor of Science graduate student from Atlantic International University, has been promoted to be the Director of Research for the Bicron Electronics Company.

Dr. McGivern joined Bicron in 1998 and has been responsible for several key developments in materials, design and manufacturing techniques that have enabled the company to increase its maximum transformer isolation voltage. He is also recognized to be one of the world’s foremost experts on corona-free transformer design which allows Bicron transformers to be utilized in many critical applications which require a product life as long as 25 years or more.
