AIU would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest sympathy to those who suffered the extreme consequences from powerful natural disasters in Asia. On April 28th Myanmar was hit with a huge Cyclone, Nargis leaving more than 120,000 dead and 56,000 others missing, then on May 12th a powerful earthquake killed at least 60,000 people in China’s Sichuan province. Taking into consideration all the pain and suffering these people had gone through we would like to encourage anyone and everyone to take a part of the healing that the world needs, in special the healing that countries like China and Mynamar need in moments like this. AIU has students from all over the world, which is why it is so important to us to lend a helping hand to whoever needs it in situations like this.
